2025 Stage Three: A Coruña / O Burgo to Sarandóns

September 28: Distance: 13.1 Km / 8.1 miles
The official start of the Camino Inglés is at the Igrexa de Santiago (built in the 12th century). The first official Km marker is around to the left side of the church on the Rúa Santiago.
NOTE: I have a rest day in A Coruña and will walk the first few kilometers on my rest day so I can start the next day’s Stage Four in O Burgo.

O Burgo 3.2, Alvedro 2.8, Sergude 7.3, Sarandóns 3,1

Watch for:
O Burgo: The Bridge of Burgo – Sir John Moore destroyed it with dynamite during the Peninsular Wars (1808 – 1814) and wasn’t repaired until the late 20th Century.
Sarandós: The Pazo de Barral, built in the first half of the 16th century where Phillip II of Spain spent the night on his way to A Coruña to embark for England, where he was to marry Mary Tudor (1554).
