Watch for:
Leaving Hospital de Órbigo – Alternate Route: Follow the main road through Hospital, and at the edge of town, turn RIGHT at the option to continue on the recommended route to Villares de Órbigo. [The recommended route is 0.8km longer, but has nicer scenery.] The other route, the Highway Way has no services and is ugly highway walking. Boo.
Astorga – Dining: Restaurante Las Termas (Calle Santiago, 1) near the old Roman thermal baths and 50 meters from the cathedral. €22. Also recommends the restaurant at Hotel Gaudi.
