Watch for:
Estorde and Sardiñeiro – Beach: Praia da Langosteira – A long (2 km / 1.2 mile) stretch of soft white sand that leads sough to the town of Finisterre. Often covered in kelp and seashells – including scallop shells.
Finisterre – Lighthouse: 6.4 km round-trip from Finisterre. Check-in to lodging before walking to the lighthouse.
Finisterre – Dining recommendations: Restaurante Lorca Calafigueira (Paseo Ribeira, 39. €12-20. Day’s catch. Best place in the harbor for atmosphere as well as food. Open air and covered dining.
Leaving Finisterre – Bus to Santiago: Multiple departures per day €9.85. Note the travel time. Some buses are direct (1.5 hours) while others service coastal villages making the trip 3+ hours.
