Watch for:
Irache – Bodegas Irache Wine Fountain with live web cam. 2.7 km after Estella. Fountain opens at 0900. Vineyards of winemaker Bodegas Irache, founded in 1891. The fountain was founded in 1991, 100 years after the vineyard. The vines have been cultivated since the 12th century for Navarran nobles.
Azqueta – History. Just before entering the village: 13th century Fountain of the Moors
Monjardin – Warning! Rest and fill up with water. No services or shade for the next 12km.
Los Arcos – History. Master archers w/bows (los arcos) won the town in the 11th century for the king of Navarra.
Los Arcos – Restaurant recommendation (Beebe): Mesón de Gargantúa. Great view, good food. Right on the church square. Sit in the sheltered arcade or on the plaza.
