Watch for:
Terradillos de los Templarios – After a very long stretch on the flat meseta, it’s a welcome sight to come over the rise and see the huddle of terra cotta roofs. pop 68. The mfg of red clay tiles and bricks is associated with this area. Village dates to the late Roman period.
Moratinos – Home of the yarn trees.
Sahagún – Join the locals for a drink on the Plaza Mayor.
