When I got my bag, I discovered I’d left my kindle in Ledigos. I contacted them and they have it. I told them I’d find out the shipping charge to home and would add 10€ for their trouble. I’ll go to the post office in Astorga.

Why change insoles?
My thanks to Dana Ballentine who has been my Camino mentor. She has done three Caminos: two Camino Frances that I’m on and this past spring she walked the Le Puy which is from Le Puy France to St Jean where I started. She is planning another Camino.
She had me buy a second set of Oboz insoles for my Oboz boots and instructed me to change them out midway. I changed out my insoles this morning. I was surprised to see how worn down the old ones were!

October 1 Hospital de Orbigo Dinner with Pilgrims
Dinner with pilgrims. I didn’t get everyone’s photo, but as we wandered into the restaurant, we’d just sit with a group already seated.
At my table this evening, people from Germany, Netherlands, UK, Korea, California, Maryland. One fellow is 79, another on his 7th Camino.
